So I've finally stopped waking up to grey skies and misery...I thought I would celebrate with a bit colour which has been seriously lacking of late.
I've been noticing a lot of checked shirts around uni recently and tbh even though I'm really not a fan, the ones I've seen have looked pretty good on the girls wearing them. This got me thinking and I realised I really can't do the boy shirt and jeans thing...or the extremely casual either. I literally feel like a man in jeans and a top that isn't ridiculously feminine. I was in such a quandary one day in Istanbul when it was freezing cold and on the advice of my better half I wore my skinny jeans and a hoodie and the ENTIRE day I really felt like I should have a beard and male genitalia. I don't know if it just me who has an inability to wear clothes like that and feel good...or am I over thinking it?

I can't wear casual clothes without feeling disgusting all day :/ and baggy tops make me feel fat too! But I'm dead up for a fitted tartan shirt at the moment, worn buttoned up to the top tucked into a cute black bodycon skirt. I just need to find the perfect shirt! www.dazedyoungmess.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletehahaha that cracked me up, I feel the same way though. There are times when I'm alone at home that I can dress "down" but i have to be wearing like pj bottoms with it.
