I went to Hickstead yesterday to watch some horses jump unimaginable fences. This is the team for Great Britain (who won yesterday by the way) and they were so so good and I loved watching them, despite having my sister moaning in my ear that she was tired, cold and bored throughout the day. Nothing one of these cupcakes and a banoffee crepe couldn't cure. The dress, shoes and belt is what I wore and it turned out to be perfect even though it was a little chilly towards the evening. The dress is from a little shop in Tunbridge Wells called Minimaya...they have the most lovely stock; everything is simple but good quality with a lot of it coming from Denmark. Along with the great clothes, one of the owners makes all the leather goods they sell as well, including belts and beautiful clutches. I would have it all if I could seriously. I bought three dresses there in the end (whittled down from the five that I wanted) with a little help from Mr. Boyfriend and Mrs. graduation money which will be perfect for the hot nights in Turkey. I'm not looking forward to going back on Monday into the hottest month of the year there...Then again I am sure the pool will solve some of the heat issues...

  7. Yum! They look delish. I'm so jealous you went to this - I used to ride, did it for about 11 years and I miss it so much and sadly have never been to watch any horsey events even though I desperately want to - I can never find anyone to come with me! :) x

  11. The cakes look awseome, somehow even though buttercream is WAY more calorific, there's something about seeing whipped cream that makes it look even worse! But, I adore cakes nom!

You're going to Turkey? I want to go so much!

  15. Beautiful cupcakes! The horses remind me of back when I lived in Lexington, KY. :)

P.S. When you comment on my blog, there's a typo in your blog url that sends people to a bible website: http://www.margieheartsclothes.blogpsot.com/ Take a look at the spot in blogspot. It was mistyped as psot when you first commented and saved that way. Might wanna fix it next time you're over. xx
